VIRTUAL LAW FIRM FINALISES COVENTRY AIRPORT DEAL

Lawyers for Business (LfB), a Birmingham-based company which provides legal services nationwide, has completed a major acquisition for Patriot Aerospace.

The aviation group has acquired Coventry Airport at Baginton with significant development plans for general and business aviation and possibly later scheduled passenger services.

The LfB team which advised owner and international businessman Sir Peter Rigby on the acquisition was led by Chris Wright, a corporate specialist and newly-appointed director of LfB.  Chris said:  “We are proud to have worked with Patriot Aerospace on this exciting project.  The acquisition will undoubtedly result in an exciting development which will create jobs and boost the West Midlands economy.”

LfB previously advised Patriot Aerospace on a deal to acquire London Helicopter Centres Ltd, a specialist helicopter charter and engineering company with headquarters in Redhill, Surrey, and Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.

LfB is a virtual law firm.  It maintains a central administration hub in Birmingham but the legal work is carried out by a group of highly experienced lawyers who work from personal offices across the UK.
Because of its structure, LFB is able to deliver the same high quality legal services as a large city practice, but without the big city costs.
